The conservative president of The King’s College, Dinesh D'Souza, 51, has stepped down from his position. D'Souza has been allegedly accused of being engaged to 29-year-old Denise Joseph while still legally married to his wife of 20 years. He even had the audacity to escort her to a religious conference and share a hotel room with her, according to NY Daily News. Saints of God, wake up, we cannot tell the homosexuals to get saved, if the there are alleged hypocrites in the body of Christ.
Now we have also learned D'Souza and Joseph had only known each other for three months when he introduced her as his fiance at a popular christian conference. We find his discreet affair very hypocritical since he was the former aide to President Ronald Reagan, one of the last of America's presidents who was a God-fearing born again Christian. This goes to show us, whether you call yourself a liberal or a conservative, you must make sure you are holy in your personal life. I Peter 1:16 says, 'Because it is written, You will be holy; for I am holy.' That's not just an old cliche, that's a commandment. You cannot claim you are for morals and values while being unfaithful to your spouse. We cannot imagine how his previous wife must feel since D'Souza has been allegedly showing off this younger woman to Christians whom have been listening to whatever he has had to say at these Christian conferences.
SCR readers, we feel most conservatives of today may not be true born again Christians like back in the day. We feel a lot of them could be living very sinful lives and this is possibly why it is much harder to get sinners to turn to biblical values, they are not seeing enough true examples while witnessing too many scandals. We truly feel many of them could be much different than when President Ronald Reagan was alive. Our christian walk has nothing to do with being conservative, but we have to be holy, according to God's Word. The Word of God just does not oppose homosexuality, it is against all sin. If we desire for this nation of America to take heed to biblical values, then we have to live right and not embarrass the body of Christ that has been trying so very hard to spread traditional biblical values to this country. In the meantime, we will continue to keep Dinesh D'Souza, his wife and this younger woman in our prayers.
