Hollywood Celebrity News: '30 Rock': Alec Baldwin Offered Paycut For Additional Seasons

Usually, we do not hear of many Hollywood celebrities taking a pay cut for additional television series to air, but Alec Baldwin allegedly tweeted he was going to be willing to do it.   As you know, '30 Rock' was a big hit, but now this coming Thursday will be its' final season.  Obviously, Baldwin was not just doing his job for the money, but also because he must have really enjoyed starring in the television hit series, since 2006.

Baldwin Offered Paycut For Additional Seasons

 "30 Rock" Season 8? Alec Baldwin tried to make it happen. The Emmy-winning star of the NBC comedy revealed on Twitter that he tried to get NBC to keep the series going by taking a paycut.

NBC had no comment on the tweet.

Baldwin, who plays Jack Donaghy, an NBC honcho on the series, has starred on "30 Rock" since it debuted in 2006. The show kicks off its seventh and final season on Thursday...Read full article, here.
