As some of you know, Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani was originally arrested in Iran. In many foreign countries, Christians are persecuted for not following Islamic doctrine and spreading the message of Jesus Christ, something has now been happening to Christian Americans, lately. Nadarkhani was freed from prison, after posting bail, but now, he has been put in prison, again.
Back in September 2012, we informed SCR readers, Pastor Youcef was freed, in case you do not recall, you can read it, here. In 2009, Nadarkhani went to local officials to complain about Islamic indoctrination in his school district, arguing that his children should not be forced to learn about Islam, according to FoxNews.com. This man has endured the same harsh punishment as some of our fellow Christians in America, today. According to ACLJ.com, Pastor Nadarkhani was torn away from his wife and two young boys on Christmas Day. This is severe persecution and we should keep this pastor and his family in our prayers.
In the meantime, we will be praying for Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani and his family. We know God will intervene for his freedom, once again.
