Hollywood News:Conrad Bain of 'Diff'rent Strokes' dead at 89

Now, it seems like Todd Bridges is the only main cast member blessed to still be living, Conroad Bain who played Mr. Drummond has past away.  The good thing about his death is that he died right, he did not depart this life of an overdose on drugs or alcohol, neither did he die of any sort of tragedy.  Conroad Bain lived a long life at the age of 89 years old.

We are going to miss all of those actors and actresses from back in the 1970's and early 80's who past away, because they played decent roles and in that particular era, it was pure comedy.  According to MSN.com, before "Diff'rent Strokes," Bain played conservative neighbor Dr. Arthur Harmon on the feminist sitcom "Maude." He also was a journeyman actor on stage, screen and television.

May Conroad Bain who played Phillip Drummond on 'Diff'rent Strokes rest in peace.
