It is a positive thing that the Supreme Court's decision that allegedly supports gay marriage will not change the minds of many ministers within the black church. As we've told you so many times before, God is looking for strong leaders not just within the black church, but among all races of clergy members. We have seen enough black preachers supporting gay marriage, which grieves God.
God never intended for ministers whom preach His Word to fear some people whom condones sin and ignores His commandments. God never intended for preachers within the black church to fear many other ministers whom are followers and would rather be accepted by humanity instead of being satisfied with just being accepted by God. God never intended for the black race to join a revolution that opposes His Word, after they have been blessed to survive slavery and inequality within America. Therefore, thank God we have many ministers within the black church whom are not moved by the Supreme Court's decision to allegedly support gay marriage, but yet preached against all sin, including homosexuality based on God's Word.
Biblical Scriptures against Homosexuality
- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
- Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
- Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
- Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
