It's good to hear Joel Osteen not be a 'powder puff' Christian as usual, in our opinion. Joel Osteen boldly admitted in his own words, he sees no where in the Bible homosexuality is acceptable, allegedly. Usually, Pastor Osteen has went around the subject, but this time he boldly revealed what he thinks how God feels about the issue.
Although Pastor Osteen says gays should have the same rights as straights, he did not bat an eye when the question was asked how he felt about gay marriage in the eyes of God.
We want many of you preachers within the black church and other races behind the pulpit to decide whose side you are going to be on, God or the Devil. Some of you want to be accepted so bad by those whom are followers of those whom do not publicly denounce gay marriage and homosexuality, you do not fear God. However, please realize we all have some place to go after this life. Therefore, we sincerely feel Joel Osteen no doubt thinks about judgement after this life and if he was afraid at first, as you will see on this following video, he no longer fears people.
Biblical Scriptures against Homosexuality
- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
- Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
- Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
- Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
Televangelist Joel Osteen on the power of Twitter, and same-sex marriage
One pastor who will have a very busy Easter weekend is televangelist Joel Osteen, who oversees a congregation far larger than the thousands who fit into his Houston church. Osteen is a TV mega pastor whose message reaches millions of households weekly.
