SCR readers, Senator Saxby Chambliss still says no to gay marriage. As you probably know, there are some Republicans whom have agreed with our president and support gay marriage. However, whenever we hear of a politician who still is outspoken against it, we thank God for their obedience to God's Word. What would America be without politicians like Senator Saxby Chambliss?
According to NYDailyNews.com, Sen. Chambliss said, "I’m not gay. So I’m not going to marry one," after another Republican of Ohio, Senator Rob Portman publicly announced his support for gay marriage.
If you have listened to the testimonies of people (videos page) whom have been to heaven and hell, have you thought about some politicians whom may not make it to heaven, because they ignore biblical scriptures against certain sins? This is why it pays to support the few politicians whom do not condone what goes against the Word of God. Do you realize there will be some politicians in heaven and some burning in eternal hell?
Biblical Scriptures against Homosexuality
- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
- Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
- Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
- Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
