Celebrity News: Ex-NFL Player Sam Hurd Pleads Guilty To Drug Charge

Former player for the Dallas Cowboys, Sam Hurd pleads guilty to drug charges. The 27-year-old is accused of allegedly setting up a drug distribution network. We wonder why every now and then, some of these athletes get so greedy so for money they choose to sell drugs, even after they have achieved a career as a professional athlete?

According to HuffingtonPost.com, pleaded guilty in federal court in Dallas to one count of possession of cocaine and marijuana with intent to distribute. Now, he may spend 10 years in prison and may never play pro ball, ever again.

We've heard these stories before and can never comprehend why some NFL players think they will be able sell drugs and continue being a football star?  It still doesn't work.
