This article is not to condemn the deceased victims whom were youth pastors, but only to put a stop to these tragedies, which have occurred in the last several years. Some youth pastors died before their time, much like some of their elders whom have preached in the pulpit and also died early. There are spiritual reasons for this and the structure within the black church much change before God can charge his angels to stop the Devil and his demons from killing our ministers of all ages before their time.
Now, we do not know if these youth pastors were involved with promoting hip hop gospel in their ministries, but for the ones whom supported it, there could be a spiritual reason for their murder, possibly. We are not necessarily saying God punished them for not being holy, but we do feel in certain circumstances, there could have been punishment for being followers of carnality within today's average modern black church and gospel music industry, instead of solely following God's Word for us to be holy. Before we began this post, we just want to inform you about a minister whom was shot, but was not murdered, he survived his gunshot wound to the head and there were probably others whom were blessed to be alive to give their testimonies. However, it's time for the black church to go back and completely follow God's Word, which includes to no longer condone blending worldly music with gospel music. Think about it SCR readers, there was once a time when youth pastors were not being shot in the street just like those involved with gang affiliation. There was once a time when even elders within the black church were not gunned down, because of a robbery or just walking down the street. Preachers back in the day were not victims of homicide. We were a holy people and Satan knew to leave us alone, although we know there were probably very few cases back in the day.
Let's be real, this is a nightmare to see youth ministers being gunned down. As children of the most high, we've got to examine what has been going on within many of today's black churches. youth ministers and their elders are being shot to death? After God's told us to be holy, do we have any business supporting pastors like Bishop Eddie Long, Bishop T. D. Jakes and others whom have promoted hip hop gospel within their churches? Does the black church have any business trying to create the same type of worship services like these celebrity preachers that may be attracting a lot of youth, but not teaching them to be different from the world? Is God pleased with them allowing youth pastors to bring in hip hop music to blend into worship music, in God's House? Is God pleased with the black church being followers of modern worship of some white churches who slavery? Saints of God, there has got to be a reason for youth ministers being gunned down in the streets, in some cases, in front of their homes like 23-year-old Oscar Duncan.
Compton youth pastor, Duncan may have been a very respectful young man whom was a great mentor to the youth, but spiritually, there was a reason for his death, which we may never know. Allegedly, we learned Minister Duncan asked some thugs in a car to stop jeering at his girlfriend. Oscar Duncan and his girlfriend were just returning home from Bible study, according to the video clip found at losangeles.cbslocal.com. Of course, we feel that was definitely Satan not wanting this young couple to serve Jesus Christ. However, overall some youth ministers whom are involved with the modern worship within the church is wrong. We are not saying this about Duncan, because we do not know if he condoned or supported hip hop gospel music.
God can send His angels to charge over these youth ministers lives, if they began teaching the youth to be holy and not agree with worldly music to blend with church/gospel music. In I Peter 1:16, the Word of God instructs us to be holy: 'Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.' In 2 Cor. 6:14 it also clearly says: 'Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?' In I John 2:15, the Word of God says, 'Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.' So ask yourselves, will God send His angels to take charge and protect the lives of these youth ministers if they have promoted hip hop gospel music within the church. Hip hop is not holy and you cannot sanctify it, because hip hop music has been created by many music celebrities in the world whom have allegedly sold their souls to the Devil for fame and fortune. It is time for the elders of the black church to stop focusing on trying to get fame and fortune like Bishop T. D. Jakes, Bishop Eddie Long, Creflo Dollar and others whom allegedly have not enforced God's law of pure holiness within their ministers. It is time they stop trying to get the youth into their churches to help supplement their income, but mainly focus on attracting them into their churches so they can be righteous. If we expect to see youth ministers live a long time, there needs to be a new revival within the black church, which includes training them to run revivals for the youth to seek God and only worship Him and not hip hop gospel music. Because hip hop music is allegedly a religion, according to KRS One. Let us be clear with you, you cannot mix another religion with God's music and this is what could be making God very angry. Because youth pastors are very powerful within the black church God will hold them accountable for what they teach the youth, including the elders whom have ordained them. If they are allowing more entertainment in their worship services, rather than enforcing much prayer and praise to God. If they refused to change their ministries into complete holiness, than there is no way all of these fatal tragedies will ever end, possibly.
There have been too many youth pastors murdered and it is time for them to start preaching the truth that young people also need to be holy and no longer enjoy hip hop gospel music, which is not sacred, holy and pure, but it is very carnal in the eyes of God.
May all of the youth pastors who got murdered rest in peace.
