Adrian Peterson, NFL celebrity admits he does not agree with homosexual marriage, allegedly. Thank God for the few NFL players whom are coming out to publicly denounce what is not right, according to God's Word. If we did not have professional ball players to admit God's plan for marriage is the only way, then it would mean that possibly the majority of them are rebellious against God.
According to USAToday.com, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson discussed his views on gay marriage on Sirius/XM NFL Radio recently. Stemming from a conversation about his former teammate and gay rights activist Chris Kluwe, Peterson voiced his opinion on the issue.
No matter how much money these celebrities make, they will have to eventually answer to God just like everyone else. There is a such a thing as right and wrong and according to these following scriptures, it is wrong to be gay and marriage does not make it right. God's choice for humanity should be our choice, if we truly love Him and believe in Him.
In the meantime, we will keep Adrian Peterson in our prayers and God will bless him for his courage.
Biblical Scriptures against Homosexuality
- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
- Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
- Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
- Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
