Three churches in North Carolina have dropped their affiliation with Boy Scouts of America. Although we should continue to rejoice each and every time a church leaves the Boy Scouts of America, we still should deal with the issue of homosexuality within the church. You see, many young teens in churches across America are battling with this alleged demon and it's time for revival.
According to the ChristianPost.com, Calvary Church has hosted the Boy Scouts for 20 years, however, Rev. Jim Pile, pastor of family ministries, recently explained that the church wanted to narrow its programming to something that had a specific spiritual formation angle. He did not specify if the church's decision had been a response to the BCA's policy shift on homosexuality.
It's certainly a wonderful victory whenever a church drops their affiliation with the Boy Scouts of America. However, let us run revivals against this demonic issue that has crept into Christian households and the church.
