Houston Mayor Annise Parker Says City Has Withdrawn Subpoenas Requesting Sermons from Pastors

Saints of God, this is why we tell you all the time to encourage your church members to become politicians, because it gives us Christians power.  After Commissioner Peter Kirsanow wrote a letter, rebuking Mayor Annise Parker, she's decided to pull back from subpoenas requesting sermons from pastors.  This shows that when you have a position to confront your enemy, things will change.  However, as long as people in the church just complain and take no positions in government, then politicians like Parker will try to use their power to take away our freedom to preach the gospel, the way Christ wants us to.
