Bishop Indicted for Deadly Hit-And-Run, Faces More Charges

Of course, we could yet celebrate that Heather Cook was elected to be the first female bishop of the Episcopal Church of Maryland, but maybe not.  The fact that she didn't even both to stop after hitting this bicyclist, Thomas Palermo with her car makes us wonder if she was called into ministry, but it's not for us to decide, it's certainly up to God. Allegedly, she was driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Joy105.com.  According to wbaltv.com, Maryland Episcopal Diocese has banned Bishop Suffragan Heather Cook from ministry activities.  The diocese is still waiting for Cook to respond to their requests for her resignation.

We will pray that she beats her addiction and may her victim, Thomas Palermo rest in peace.
