Arkansas Pastor and Circuit Judge, Wendell Griffen, Says Real Repentance Leading to Racial Reconciliation Demands Restitution

Pastor Wendell Griffen, says repentance includes restitution for oppression and injustice.  We feel we comprehend what this pastor means. However, we honestly feel before African Americans can receive what they are due, they must fully commit and repent to God first. Secondly, how many blacks have killed blacks?  Not just by weapons, but also the way our people have mistreated each other all sorts of ways.  We must love and unite among ourselves before we can take the power God has given us to win over our oppressor, whether they be white or any other race.

According to Black Christian News, real repentance leading to racial reconciliation demands restitution for victims of oppression and injustice, an African-American Baptist pastor told a Hardin-Simmons University audience.

We will keep you posted on any further discussion on this topic in the future, if necessary.
