One of the things we must say, is that the Baptist denomination is somewhat much stronger than COGIC. For years, in our opinion, just because Bishop Yvette Flunder is the granddaughter of a well-known late bishop and niece of Bishop WW Hamilton, it seems as though she does not get rebuked by any COGIC leaders, whatsoever. It seems as though she is yet highly respected and over the years, and many other children of COGIC have followed Bishop Flunder, because of her family status, believing it's okay to be a homosexual, allegedly.
Finally, we're making progress, this man of God is not afraid to speak against a descendant of a COGIC bishop. Pastor Randy C. Vaughn is standing strong in his opposition against the lesbian bishop, Yvette Flunder who has been legally married to Shirley Miller who is the cousin to the late Bishop Walter L. Hawkins and the Hawkins Family. Allegedly, he says that Flunder being allowed to speak at this upcoming baptist convention is not good for the family unit, in his own words.
Bishop Yvette Flunder has been legally married to Shirley Miller (first cousin to the famous gospel clan, The Hawkins Family) for about 20 years, allegedly. She yet preaches it is okay to be a homosexual, regardless of these following biblical scriptures.
Let us hold this lesbian couple up in prayer and not give up on them.
Biblical Scriptures against Homosexuality
- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
- Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
- Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
- Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
