According to TheBlaze.com, in addition to her $20 donation to Memories Pizza, Hoffman wrote:
“As a member of the gay community, I would like to apologize for the mean spirited attacks on you and your business. I know many gay individuals who fully support your right to stand up for your beliefs and run your business according to those beliefs. We are outraged at the level of hate and intolerance that has been directed at you and I sincerely hope that you are able to rebuild.”God does deal with gays and lesbians and He has the power to touch their hearts to care about heterosexuals. God is going to bless Courtney Hoffman in a very special way. For this reason, homosexuals may have the right to be who they are, but they do not have the right to take away the freedom of holiness and righteousness among Christians. Furthermore, it's wrong for homosexuals to hate Christians, just because they want to strictly obey and live, according to God's Word.
