Obama Family Attends Prominent African-American Megachurch Pastor Rev. Howard-John Wesley Touches on Questions of Same-Sex Marriage and Other Social Issues for Easter

You would think if a pastor is going to mention homosexuality before the president of this country, he would admit it is a sin.  However, Pastor Howard Wesley of Alfred Street Baptist Church touched on the subject, lightly.

According to ChristianPost.com, President Barack Obama and his family attended the prominent Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia, on Easter Sunday. The pastor, Rev. Howard-John Wesley, touched on a number of social issues in his sermon, including same-sex marriage, healthcare, and the resurrection of Christ.

"Where do you stand with rights for same-sex couples … where do you stand on gun reform, where do you stand with police body cameras?" he asked. "Where do you stand on affordable health care? Life has a way of making you make a decision. Where you stand on the resurrection of Jesus Christ: You either believe it or you reject it."
God was waiting on Rev. Howard-John Wesley to admit homosexuality is a sin before the first lady and president of this country.  He didn't do it, so therefore, he will have to answer to God, if he doesn't repent.

Biblical Scriptures against Homosexuality
  •  1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

  • Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
  • Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
  • Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
